coloured fish bicycle thing

Inspired a bit by the Rowland Emett exhibit at OSC and also by this dream I had when I was a child.
I was on a 3 seated flying bicycle with my parents, and we were being chased by giant mechanical goldfish. At one point, the bicycle started to fall to pieces, and the gears were being consumed by the fish, drawing ever closer.

I need to work on my portfolio due to art school application next semester.
I really want to use some of my old pieces (but oh noes, they are all animu), but guessing there must be some realism involved as well.
Also, they want a sketchbook of art processes, but I NEVER do processes before a "formal" piece.... I might just do a piece and do processes after it's done. Ahaha they'll never know.
